Red Slippers – organic, fairtrade handmade handwoven shawl wrap

Description

This handwoven shawl was made with a lot of love, eye for detail and special care.
I used organic shetland and fairtrade alpaca yarn.
The fairtrade alpaca yarn comes from a local atelier which gives adults with disabilities a place to shine. With your purchase you support this small sheltered workshop.

This unique piece is a soft and warm companion on those colder and shorter days. Perfect for a walk outside in the snow, soaking up the cold while still feeling warm and cozy.
Also perfect for indoors, covering your lap while reading a good book and sipping your favourite tea.

Washing instructions:
Handwash very gently in lukewarm water. If you wish to use soap, use one without any harsh chemicals. Gently squeeze out the water. (No wringing!) and roll up in a towel to remove the excess water. Lay flat to dry. (No tumbler!)
