I’m Teska and was born in the Netherlands. Since 2013 I live in Switzerland. I’m a proud mom of two beautiful children and married to a musician. Being in my head quite often I needed something to put myself into balance. My creative energy needs nourishment. Working with wool and yarn and having it run through my fingers does exactly that. I’m able to relax, enjoy and experience such happiness.
The Wyrd One…
… was firstly born from a very profound wish to knit with local wool. When I couldn’t find any ready-to-knit yarn with wool from local sheep breeds I started looking into spinning. After that, one thing turned into another and I ended up learning how to spin, weave and embroider.
However, gradually my focus shifted as I noticed the call of my intuition, of my Womb Space. This cradle of creation needed attention. After that years of self exploration followed, leading to the moment where I decided to enroll for a training to become a Womb Awakening Practitioner.
